I have shot quite a few handguns over the years and I am always looking for the true do all, if I could only have one sporting pistol. Hmmm....... what would I have to consider that would make all my other pistols obsolete? Number 1. It would have to be tough. So that would rule out all of the polymer frame pistols. It seems that the Black rifle is defiantly here to stay. Am I right? The AR-15 can see employed in as many roles as there are variation of this rifle; that it is going on 40 plus years now is a testament to its design. Military Rifle, Sporting Rifle, Home Defender, Target Rifle, and Pest Controller, are all roles performed well by this rifle. But, for the avid or maybe not so avid hunter the .223... Best Spots to hike: Midwest
The place to hike in the Midwest has to be upper Michigan. Plenty of space to roam with lots of national forests of beautiful scenery. Animals at every turn and pristine lakes are also a draw. But the best part is there are just not many people to spoil the solitude. You can go days in the right area with out seeing anyone.
